Singapore currency is the Singapore dollar (SGD) often just shortened to S$.
It’s a highly stable currency and has coins and notes of similar denominations to the USA and Australia. International ATMs are everywhere and so are moneychangers who offer reasonable rates. Credit cards are used widely in shops and restaurants, but not at hawker centres.

AIR/LAND/SEA
Singapore’s Changi Airport (SIN), is 20km from the central business district (CBD), it is one of the world’s best airports, with connections to 400 cities in 70 countries and territories. You can get to the city via MRT trains, buses, airport shuttle buses, taxis and limousines. Proces vary dependign on yur hotel location, but an average taxi fare will be US$25. Getting around is best done bu using a mix of buses, the MRT and taxis depending on destination. The MRT is impressive once you’ve mastered the five coloured-coded routes. If you’re planning on seeeing a lot of sights a Singapore Tourist Pass Plus is the ticket.
