Comments Policy

This site is primarily about travel and food and comments on a particular post should be relevant to the post. Comments that deliberately try to provoke arguments rather than discussion will not be posted.

We’ve been travel and food writers for many years now. For that you need a very thick skin, however, personal attacks will not be published. Attacks on third parties will not be posted either. Email addresses and IP addresses attached to comments we feel are personal attacks will be blacklisted – meaning that any new comments you make will go straight to the trash.

Odd, snarky, mean-spirited comments that look like they will start an endless round of comments will be sent straight to the trash to save the commenter embarrassment.

Comments that appear to only exist to promote your site will not be published.

Comments on our recipes that run something like “this recipe is trash” without an explanation of why the recipe did not work for you will not be published.

Lastly, thanks for taking the time to contribute to the site. We learn something with every comment and we’ll always be there to answer any questions you have in the comments.
