Thanks for your comment Molly. You are going to love the food market here, it's one of the best in the world in our opinion – just local people buying their fresh seafood and meat and vegetables, but what a scene!
What made you decide to come to Jerez, if I may ask?

Hi Angela, thanks for your comment. Normally 'now' would be a great time to visit, but it's rain, rain, rain, followed by thunderstorms for a bit of variation at the moment! Some of the most unusual weather patterns ever recorded here apparently.
We're really trying to stay in the one place with perhaps a side trip, as this is all about getting to live like a local rather than the exclusive goal of 'doing the sights'.
We've been to Seville and Cordoba before – agree – both wonderful places!
July and especially August are tough times to visit – there is a reason for the afternoon siesta – being out on the streets in the early afternoon is stifling!

I've been to Andalucia last summer, I loved Cadiz. I think the best period to go to Andalucia is now, actually, I went in June and the heat was unbearable, although I'm used to hot temperatures, I could barely breathe... The food is fantastic and the architecture is very fascinating.

Will you be travelling throughout Andalucia or stay in Cadiz? Seville and Cordoba are very beautiful, too!
